This page is a new addition to the EU Fuel Poverty Network website, and aims to provide information on support, events and networking opportunities available for early career researchers involved with the study of fuel poverty issues.
At present this is no formal structure or network to support early career researchers (ECR), although there have been three successful ECR events since 2012:
- Fuel poverty in policy and practice - a postgraduate symposium, Sheffield, November 2012
- Energy Vulnerability Pathways and Conditions Symposium, Manchester, May 2013
- Fuel Poverty Research Symposium, Belfast, July 2014
It is hoped that a more regular set of ECR events can be established, with the inclusion of ECR researchers from across the world. To this end, a group of researchers have been regularly applying for funding, and looking for collaboration opportunities with charities and industry.
If you would like to take an active role in developing ECR events, or simply to be kept informed about future events, please sign up below. As well as ECRs, we are also keen to hear from more established researchers who are able to provide assistance.
